Tadej Juranovič

Tadej Juran is an architect, designer, and producer. He studied architecture in Ljubljana and the Netherlands. His retreat in the woods and the renovation of a secluded forest house became the foundation for his master’s thesis, earning him Slovenia’s highest student distinction — The Plečnik Recognition.

As an external collaborator and project coordinator, he has contributed to large-scale projects, including the expansion of Slovenia’s main airport and several hotel renovations. In collaboration with Lushna, he co-designed nature-based destinations, shaping the architectural identity of resorts across Europe and the United States. His work has received numerous honors, including the Slovenian Design Award and the prestigious international Red Dot Design Award.

He is also the producer of short films, and the documentary series Life Talks (currently in postproduction). Tadej’s architectural approach blends natural materials with a deep sensitivity to place, creating spaces that evoke silence, beauty, and a seamless harmony between the material and the spiritual.

Atelier Juran shapes the material world and architectural spaces that go beyond personal desire. Matter becomes a medium of inspiration, holding the potential to awaken something essential, silent, and timeless.
